REstore, Plastic-Free Shop, Hackney Downs Studio

With estimates that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, it really is time that we started doing our bit for the planet. Re:Store aims to do just that, by having no single-use plastic in sight. Its larder shop offers a more conscious way of shopping: customers can refill their own containers (or reusable containers bought in store) with store cupboard and household essentials such as tea, coffee, herbs, spices and wholefoods as well as household cleaning products. Working with local supplies wherever possible, Re:Store also stocks Mission coffee beans – roasted in Clapton, and Ombra pasta made locally in a Bethnal Green Italian Restaurant. It’s a great way to start a new eco-friendly lifestyle.
