An exciting new dining and events hub in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford has been opened! With delicious food and drink offerings and a range of activities and events for all, including wellness classes and a wild sauna. You can also expect independent street food, artisanal traders, markets, and outdoor film screenings.
On top of that, Riverside East are looking to make a huge sustainable difference, using recycled materials, natural wood tables, straw pendant lighting, plus a roof garden on The Terrace for seasonal herbs used in the kitchen. The Café, led by chef Lulu Cox, features a menu with ingredients from low-waste suppliers like Wildfarmed and Sitopia. In the morning, you’ll be able to enjoy freshly-brewed Allpress Espresso coffee and grab-and-go options like breakfast pots and artisan pastries made with sustainable regenerative flour from Wildfarmed.
Heading up the kitchen by night will be former ex-Head Chef at The Ramsay Group bringing a plant-forward, low-waste and hyper-seasonal ethos, with dishes like Smoked Trout with Hash browns and Beetroot Salad. Starting in June, you’ll be able to drop by for a Riverside Weekend Brunch. Dessert lovers will be in their element, with ice cream sandwiches from our fave, East London’s Happy Endings, plus gelato from Hackney Gelato.
And there’s more… you can relax on The Terrace with fab panoramic views of East London, savouring mouthwatering pizza and flatbreads while sipping craft beers, curated wines and cocktails. What’s not to like!
