Save the date (and your appetite) — HOAX restaurant opens in Dalston this December with modern Italian flair and a hidden bar...

Opening this December on Kingsland Road, HOAX is the new modern Italian restaurant and hidden cocktail bar from husband-and-wife duo Simone and Lidia Crepaldi — taking over the former Chick ’N’ Sours site in Dalston.

Upstairs, HOAX serves up seasonal Italian dishes with a few playful twists — think fresh pasta, slow-cooked beef cheek, and a tableside tiramisu worth talking about. Downstairs, behind a velvet curtain, you’ll find The Devil You Know (TDYK) — a moody, neon-lit hideaway where Simone (ex–Callooh Callay) curates an inventive cocktail list featuring a Truffle Martini and Tiramisu Espresso Martini.

With interiors that channel classic Italian flair and East London attitude, HOAX promises to be your new go-to for dinner dates, late-night drinks, and everything in between.
