Tucked beside the Thames with a moody-glam interior that practically whispers “date night”, Gaucho Tower Bridge is serving serious main character energy — and we’re so here for it. Their new pre and post-theatre menu is the ultimate warm-up (or wind-down) act.

Kicking things off with cocktails, the Hot Zombie is exactly the kind of bold, spicy drama we love — think tropical heat with a smoky twist. Meanwhile, the chimichurri margarita, a zesty plot twist we didn’t see coming, but absolutely loved. Savoury, sharp, and just the right amount of cheeky.

Starters played the hits: crispy prawn chicharrón and golden beef empanadas that delivered the flavour like seasoned pros. Then came the cuadril (rump) steak — Argentinian rump at its finest — tender, juicy, and perfectly charred, with crunchy golden chips that practically deserve their own applause.

But the finale? Chef’s kiss. The gooey chocolate brownie was classic comfort, but the dulce de leche pancake was scene-stealing – silky, sweet, and outrageously moreish, it might just be dessert of the year. All perfectly timed for a quick skip over the the Bridge Theatre to catch Jonathan Bailey ruling the stage as Richard II.

At just £17.95 for two courses or £19.95 for three, this is one of the best deals in town. It’s available daily from 5–6.30pm and 9.30–11pm at Gaucho Tower Bridge, Covent Garden, Chancery Lane and Piccadilly.
