East London favourite The Macbeth is turning up the volume for something that matters this April, teaming up with the Thomas Crosbie PACE Foundation for a one-off night of music, community and real impact.
Taking place on 15 April, the Hoxton pub will host an intimate evening of live jazz and late-night DJs, all in support of youth mental health. The Foundation – set up in 2016 in memory of Thomas Crosbie, focuses on giving young people access to music, sport and the arts, making this collaboration feel less like a partnership and more like a natural extension of The Macbeth’s community roots.
On the lineup, The Ben Goodman Quartet lead the live session, joined by LA-based saxophonist Laurel Fink for a rare crossover set. Expect modern jazz with soul at its core – loose, expressive, and built for the room. Once the band wraps, COZEN steps up to keep things moving on the decks through to close.
Behind the bar, it’s classic Macbeth – £5 pints of Murphy’s flowing all night, plus crowd-pleasers like the legendary Prego sandwich keeping everyone fuelled.
Tickets are set at £10 (including a pint on arrival), with every penny going directly to the cause.
Good music, good people, and a reason to show up – this is what grassroots London nightlife does best.
