With over 12 months spent indoors, you might be feeling a bit rusty on the whole socialising front?
Thankfully Beavertown Brewery, originally founded in Haggerston, is here to help us with this transition into ‘real life’. To coincide with the easing of lockdown restrictions across England, Beavertown has placed signs in parks across the capital, including Clissold Park in Stoke Newington, to help the public adjust to newfound freedom.
We all know we’ve grown far too comfortable with our loungewear and conversing on screen, so Beavertown’s signs are displaying those helpful reminders of pre-lockdown behaviour to get us ready for the tide of reunions heading our way. Examples include “you cannot mute people” and “this is not a zoom call”.
As we get closer to the beer garden and back garden BBQs, look for the signs to remind yourself – it’s time to look forward and celebrate life.
Fun note: The Beavertown Brewery in Tottenham Hale produces over 9,000,000 pints a year and its new home in Enfield – Beaverworld – is getting ready to produce 10x this year (yes, that’s 90,000,000 pints a year!)
