East London Showcases at Evolving Landscapes Exhibition

Photographic exhibition at The Oxo Gallery

When you think of landscape photography, the chances are you’ll picture glorious rural scenes with rolling hills and big, open skies. Well, the Evolving Landscapes Photography Exhibition at the OXO Gallery is here to disabuse you of that notion, with many of the photos being showcased offering a distinctly urban interpretation. East London, including the Thames Barrier, makes a strong showing in the work of black cab driver/landscape photographer Terry Gibbins, who, alongside fellow Light & Land photographers Doug Chinnery, Paul Sanders and Valda Bailey, leads tours and workshops around East London’s photographic highpoints, including Canary Wharf and Millwall Docks. Other urban locations on show will include Miami and Prague, while nature scenes still get a good outing in the work of globally acclaimed photographers, including Joe Cornish and Charlie Waite. So get yourself along to the South Bank for what promises to be a real eye-opener.

When: July 2018
OXO Tower Wharf
Bargehouse Street, SE19PH
