Grab yourself a pint on Goose Island

Chicago brewery Goose Island has hidden 10 oversized goose heads in Shoreditch, London, to celebrate the launch of its first European Brewpub. Punters who spot the heads, designed by local London artist Jess Wilson, and post to social media tagging @GooseShoreditch can redeem a free pint at the Brewpub (while stocks last).

Goose Island Brew Pub

East London’s new Brewpub, Goose Island has launched a literal wild goose chase that may actually be worth partaking in. Goose Island Beer Company has commissioned London artist Jess Wilson to create 10 1m-high Goose Island heads that have been hidden around Shoreditch. The first 200 people to spot a goose, snap a picture of it and tag @GooseShoreditch on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook will enjoy a refreshing brew courtesy of Goose Island on showing the photo to a Brewpub staff member. This will commemorate Goose Island Beer Company’s first European Brewpub, which will open to Shoreditch punters on Wednesday, 21st November. The opening night will also be commemorated with live music and free pizza throughout the night. Going forward, you can expect DJ sets, one-off microbrews, tap takeovers and brewery tours – another fantastic addition to Shoreditch’s nightlife.
