Alex Jackson’s Southern-French restaurant Sardine will be hosting a series of al fresco lunches throughout August. Held within the glorious gardens of neighbouring Parasol unit foundation for contemporary art and Victoria Miro art galleries, in partnership with Mastercard® Priceless® Cities.
Set in the stunning garden area, accompanied by music, you can enjoy a bountiful, summery French lunch, cooked by Alex and the Sardine team.
Showcasing the best of Alex’s rustic, lovingly-cooked Provencal cuisine, the meal will begin with large plates of Tomato & Tapenade tart and Mozzarella with Black Figs & Basil. For the main event Alex will cook Whole Salt-Baked Sea Trout, which will be cracked open in front of guests on the terrace and served with Braised Beans and Aïoli. Followed by a classic for dessert – Nougat Ice Cream and Salted Fennel Biscuits.
There’ll be plenty of Sardine’s infamous petit-aperitif cocktails on offer, not to mention a good selection of white wines, Crémant and of course, Rosé.
VIP tickets can be purchased and include Crémant sparkling wine on arrival plus a hidden course of Provencal goat’s cheese & honey – served with a glass of Sardine’s infamous home-made fig wine.
