With theatre, comedy, music and local food stalls, the full line up of Walthamstow’s HighTide Festival has now been announced. Head over to Waltham Forest between 18th and 30th September for world-class entertainment that won’t break the bank. The festival, based in 2019’s London Borough of Culture, centres around brand new theatre by exciting emerging talent – a number of whom are from Waltham Forest themselves. HighTide isn’t just about theatre, though. It will also be presenting comedy by big names like Tim Key; intimate soul gigs; and a grown up magic show. For those looking for an excuse to stay out late, the festival will be presenting Lil.Miss.Lady, a theatre-meets-rave concept exploring female MCs in British Grime music with an after party till 2am.
You don’t just have to go along as a punter – this year marks the first ever Stars Over The Forest, a talent showcase for eminent young artists in the borough who are looking for local artists to perform on 22nd September.
