Multimedia Danish artist, Nina Saunders, has officially joined Hang-Up Gallery’s collection of artists. Nina is best known for her sculptural transformations of reclaimed furniture, using textiles, leather and taxidermy to humorously turn old furniture into redundant objects. In Nina’s world, armchairs melt to the ground and deer poke their heads through salon chairs. Hang-Up are the only gallery currently exhibiting her work. It is being featured in a unique exhibition set up, whereby new work is added and removed throughout the duration of the exhibition, allowing it to evolve and change over time. To launch the show, Nina will be releasing her first limited edition print this October.
