Reginald D. Hunter
Sunday 7 October
The sweat-soaked walls of The Garage are set be transformed into a raucous comedy club, with America’s sharpest expat, Reginald D. Hunter, headlining this fresh Sunday night social. Hunter may well be familiar for livening up the schedules of BBC2 with his popular series Songs of the South, which explored the history of American music over the last 150 years. (He’s also been a regular on Have I Got News for You?). Tonight, he will be in his element, as he unleashes his own brand of dry, irresistibly cutting humour in front of his adopted hometown crowd. Amongst the fine roster of support: fellow countryman Russell Hicks, Irish wonder Eleanor Tiernan and Yorkshire favourite Paul Tonkinson. An early arrival is advised.
