90s Nostaglia at Renault Pop Up

Play, Pause, Rewind
2 – 3 August

Londoners can re-live the 90s with an immersive experience of complete 90s throwbacks at the Renault pop up, ‘Play, Pause, Rewind’

This summer, Renault is celebrating the Clio, a car born in the 90s and the original millennial, which has stood the test of time and never gone out of style.

The pop up will be split in half: 90s nostalgia and modern day, with different elements bringing to life the technological, design and style journey of the Renault Clio from the 90s to present day.

You’ll have a chance to fully immerse yourself in a complete 90s throwback. In an ode to the best kids’ parties, you can snack on Nerdz and party ring biscuits, have your tongue turn blue from Slushies, and get your friends in a knot with a classic game of Twister. Music from Britney Spears, STEPS and the Spice Girls (to name just a few), Tamagotchis, Pogs, video games and polaroid cameras will also give you flashbacks to your long lost youth.

Once you’ve had your fill of 90s nostalgia, you can move on to the modern-day space. This will feature nail artists, photo booths, and a feature wall ready for that perfect selfie. After bopping along to smash hits, you can chill in the seating area with swinging rattan chairs and snack on unicorn cupcakes.

As part of the pop up, visitors will also be able to check out both the 90s and modern-day car models to see the Clio’s transformation over the past 25 years. Remember the days where you had to roll down the windows to cool down, get out the map to see where you were going, and jam in a cassette to listen to tunes? Now experience the Clio’s intuitive technology, with satnav and Bluetooth allowing you to access all multimedia content in the blink of an eye, and high definition BOSE speakers letting you feel the intensity of the music.

Tickets are free and available through Eventbrite here with walk ins also welcome.
